Born in Winston Salem, NC Ligit as a child listened to the likes of Michael Jackson then fell in love with the dream of being a entertainer. At the age of 8 Ligit discovered hip hop, Bone Thugs N Harmony, 2pac, Snoop Dogg, just to name a few it was no turning back after that. Through the teenage years he experimented with his talent writing lyrics but never fully expressing it to the world. At the same time Ligit was caught in the street life, planning to follow his dream of being a musician after high school, unfortunately got involved with a robbery crime at 18 years old. Ligit served over 3 years in a correctional institution, upon his release life changed drastically. Gaining knowledge of the struggle through the years, Ligit finally decided to take music seriously. Releasing solo projects on his own, such as Bright Ghetto Street Lights, For Our Sake EP, and Determination, has gave Ligit the confidence to become a STAR.
